Growing Instructions
Plant type: Warm season annual, frost tender
Plant height: 1.5m
Sow when: Germinate best at 18 – 28 ºC soil temp.
Temperate: Early spring – outside after frost danger has passed
Germination: 7-14 days

Position: Full sun; bushy, may require staking
Sow where: Into seedling pots; liquid feed once germinated
Soil type: fertile, well-drained, pH 5.8 – 7
Rows: 90cm apart
Spacing: 45 – 60 cm between plants
Details: To transplant: remove seed leaves, plant deeper, up to the 1st set of true leaves; this increases rooting and spreads maturity; keep well fertilized and evenly watered.
*Notes: Plants need staking. Prune plants to two main stems. Keep well watered. Pick when mature to encourage more fruit. To reduce the risk of disease do not water overhead.
