Shungiku is an easy to grow plant with an aromatic flavour. If not harvested as ‘greens’, it will grow over 1m height. The daisy-like flowers have an attractive golden centre, and cream-coloured outer rim.

This edible variant of Chrysanthemum is used as an Asian green. Both leaves and flowers can be used.   Add to stir fries or blanch for cooked dishes.

Suitable for container growing.
